Objectives

Overall, to improve the capacity for upholding an environmentally, climatic and healthy air quality for citizens in the EU and on global level by elaboration of a digital education toolkit in line with the demands of the EU and global directives. Further and more specifically to: 1. Improve the learning opportunities among all citizens and generations in the EU about air quality by usage of a "citizens involvement" methodology for citizens in the EU. And, to equip them with necessary competences in carrying out air quality data collection work by a citizens science methodology. 2. Improve the competence in air quality organizations toward e.g., environmental and climate staff on how to involve citizens in the air quality work and thereby increase the chance for taking on the challenges involved in decrease of air pollution and greenhouse gases. 3. Increase the exchange of practices and cooperation among citizens and organizations in the EU related to sustainability work connected toward the climate and environmental aspect, along with the health aspects, in the air quality area with the chance to establish new collaboration between citizens and organizations from all parts of society and from a varied set of organizations.
