▶Summary
Objectives MEDUSA project addresses cyber violence among youth through the lens of gender. Its main goals are: development of (online) content for youth and youth workers and establishment of an online platform, education and sensitization of youth for the recognition and informed response to cyber violence, raising awareness and trainingof youth workers for an empowered response for victims of cyber violence, raising public awareness on the connection between cyber violenceand the aspect of gender Activities MEDUSA project envisages the implementation of a combined approach of education for youth and training for youth workers, which strives for a paradigmatic shift in the understanding of cyber violence by taking into account the gender aspect. Within the project there will be: an interactive multilingual online platform established, workshops for youth conducted, trainings for youth workers conducted, an international summer school for youth organised, policy guidelines prepared. Impact The MEDUSA project will: empower youth with knowledge on cyber violence through the prism of gender, improve the competences and understanding of youth workers on cyber violence with regard to gender, sensitize the professional and general public to build a society with zero tolerance for gender-based cyber violence, contribute to placing cyber violence among youth on national and EU public-political agendas, enable the exchange and transfer of good practices between
