Decreasing the diversities through drama
▶Summary
Objectives The aim of this project is to gather information and assess the various situational contexts in which bullying can occur and how each is best addressed. We will work together and provide our experiences and expertise in creating awareness raising tools such as creating classic, musical and dance theater to be used to reach different target groups. Artistic play and creative exploration help to foster self-efficacy and self-esteem in young people, and build positive and lasting relationships. Activities 1st activity is to organize 5-day Classics Theater in Greece, 2nd activity is organizing Music in Italy and 3rd activity is organizing Dance theater in Macedonia. On every training 18 students from 3 different countries will participate. The screenplay will be written by the participants and be based on real-life bullying situation they experienced. Process will be documented, and theater play will be performed publicly. Dissemination will be conducted with video, photo, social media, TV. Impact Self-Confidence: Taking risks and performing for an audience teach students to trust their ideas and abilities. Imagination: Theatre provides an outlet for making creative choices and thinking new ideas Problem Solving: Students learn to communicate the who, what and why to the audience. Improvisation fosters quick-thinking solutions, and greater adaptability in life.
