▶Objectives
In their daily work, trainers and employeed in AE are confronted with the diversity of different people and are expected to create opportunities for everyone to participate. This can be very challenging in their daily work. Resources are scarce, so theoretical discussions are often difficult. There is a need for short, concise and comprehensible input, especially in the context of gender diversity and queer/feminist approaches. With this in mind, we set and achieved our goals in FemQueer: first, we collected various approaches, theories and good practices on feminist and queer theories. Then, we prepared them for workshops and disseminated our expertise in the strategy paper. We have created space in our partner organisations to deal intensively with the topic area and gained more clarity and certainty about how we can contribute to equality and participation opportunities for all genders. We have also encouraged other AE stakeholders to think and reflect on their daily work in various project activities, networked with different organisations and shared our results and findings from the project in workshops, exchange and networking meetings and recorded and disseminated them in the strategy paper for sustainable use.
