โ–ถObjectives

The project set out with a clear vision: to empower adult learners, educators, & small business owners to actively engage in climate change mitigation and adaptation through sustainable forest management. Key objectives included increasing awareness of the vital role forests play in building climate resilience, offering practical tools & training to promote sustainable practices, & enhancing adult competencies through accessible, high-quality learning. To achieve these goals, we developed multilingual MOOCs, comprising videos, eBooks, slides, & quizzes in 4 languages, designed to be flexible and engaging for adult learners across Europe. These digital resources provided clear, practical knowledge on forest-based climate action. A pilot session involving at least 30 adult educators and learners enabled direct feedback, interactive learning, and knowledge exchange on both local and international levels. The project also successfully fostered transnational collaboration among partners, deepening knowledge-sharing, building institutional capacity, & reinforcing networks that support sustainability in adult education by focusing on the creation of inclusive, innovative learning spaces & strengthening competencies in forest management.
