The project aimed to address the growing demand for ERP software operators and programmers by equipping VET trainers with the necessary digital skills and pedagogical tools. By training 30 VET trainers through structured workshops, mobility, and SEO-based digital content, we enhanced their capacity to teach ERP systems effectively. This directly supports the Erasmus+ horizontal priority of digital transformation and the VET-specific priority of aligning education with labour market needs. The project also encouraged VET providers to integrate ERP tools into their curricula, ensuring long-term impact. Sustainability is ensured through open-access training materials, multilingual websites, and SEO training that enables partners to maintain visibility and update content post-funding. Employability of VET learners was improved by aligning their skills with a market projected to reach USD 90.63 billion by 2029. Inclusion was addressed by involving institutions with fewer opportunities, while green practices were embedded through paperless operations and virtual collaboration.

The project was initiated to address a critical mismatch between the skills taught in VET institutions and the actual needs of the labour market, particularly in the field of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Despite high demand and attractive salaries for ERP operators and developers—where top earners in Germany exceed €75,000 annually—VET students often lack access to structured ERP training due to limited curricula and insufficiently trained teachers. According to Eurostat and European Commission data, digital skills gaps persist across Europe, especially among marginalised youth and VET learners. In Turkey, the ERP market is growing at over 12% annually, yet companies struggle to find qualified staff. This project directly tackled these issues by equipping VET trainers with ERP competencies, enabling them to deliver relevant training aligned with business needs. It also supported curriculum innovation, improved employability for students, and fostered stronger links between education providers and industry. The partnership ensured sustainability through institutional integration of results and ongoing collaboration with ERP experts like Xient.
