The primary goal of the project was to enhance the future employability and active European citizenship of VET students by significantly boosting their key competences. The main objectives were to: Improve Digital and Media Literacy: Enable students to perform effective online research, correctly choose relevant and reliable sources, and produce digital content (e.g., videos) using specialized software/apps. Enhance Language and Intercultural Competences: Strengthen English language skills (reading, writing, speaking) by facilitating transnational teamwork, thereby overcoming language barriers and fostering a greater understanding of social, linguistic, and cultural diversity among participating students. Promote Inclusion and European Values: Actively include students with fewer opportunities from diverse social, ethnic, and migrant backgrounds in transnational workshops. This participation aimed to promote a positive attitude toward the European project and its values, while simultaneously increasing motivation and satisfaction in their VET studies. Support students in acquiring crucial soft skills such as team building, team working, and presentation skills, vital for their professional profiles and future employability.

The project was initiated to address the urgent need to equip Vocational Education and Training (VET) students with essential digital and media literacy skills for their future careers and active citizenship in a digitalized world. The partnership focused on improving students' abilities to navigate and critically assess digital information, which is crucial for their future employability and social participation. Needs addressed included: Bridging the Digital Divide: Reducing the gap caused by socio-economic or gender-specific inequalities by demonstrating that technology provides easy access to necessary tools and knowledge for private and professional achievements. Enhancing Key Competences: Providing an improved provision and assessment of critical thinking, digital skills, and media literacy, while simultaneously boosting foreign language competence (English) and a greater understanding of social, linguistic, and cultural diversity among German, Spanish, and Estonian students. Promoting EU Values: Increasing students' motivation for learning, their satisfaction at school, and fostering a more active participation in society and a positive attitude toward the European project and its values.
