Objectives

GreenVET pathway aims to make VET-institutions active drivers of the Green Transition. Through a Whole Institution Approach VET-staff is encouraged to assess and transform their institution’s values, operations and teaching towards environmental sustainability. This institutional re-orientation will provide VET-teachers with knowledge, skills and attitude to prepare their students for the current and future labour market needs that the European Green Deal will demand.

Impact

The project results will provide relevant information on the intersection of VET and the Green Transition, including educational implications and a database to share valuable resources. For 2 VET-institutions from each partner network the project will result in a concrete action plan of how to implement transformative change within their institution. Furthermore, the project will enable any other VET-institution to join in a Whole Institution Approach by engaging in the online GreenVET path.
