▶Objectives
The project focuses on strengthening the key competencies of family entrepreneurs who have gone through the succession process or are involved in the generational discussion on company management in the area of green transition. Due to their size, SMEs and especially Family Businesses (FBs) have fewer opportunities to start implementing activities towards the green transition. The project creates a comprehensive training system based on various OERs that provide them with the missing know-how.
▶Activities
The project includes various activities that are designed to fulfil the main goal to support family businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises on their way towards a green transition. The work is divided into 5 work packages: Project Management; Collection of In-Dept Case Studies; Green Transition Training Modules; Micro-Learning Video Units; Training Platform Development and Pilot Testing. Furthermore, a training activity is included to support adequately direct beneficiaries as well.
▶Impact
Family businesses lack behind in the process of transformation, adaptation and adjustment to the green industry. Therefore, the project goal is to support FBs and SMEs on their way towards a green transition. Through the cooperation of project partners, the project aims to deliver various innovative educational materials for family entrepreneurs as well as for other SMEs and increase their knowledge, and green skills and motivate them to start their own transition to a sustainable GREEN future!
