The primary aim of the project was to raise awareness of Climate Change and it effects on the environment. Young people today are very interested in environmental issues and so our project should help to develop green skills and inspire participants to live more sustainable and greener lifestyles. The transnational cooperation should show our students that they are not alone with their concerns, but that there is great agreement across national borders in the efforts and views to protect our earth and shape a future worth living. The exchange of ideas, learning together and from each other, the mutual demonstration of good practices was aimed at creating a greater understanding for each other and for other cultures and should contribute to the education of tolerance, participation and civic engagement. The project also aimed to increase knowledge of the European Union's efforts to protect the environment, for example through legislation, regulations, initiatives and the Green Deal, and to help our students and staff and those around them to identify more strongly with the values of the European Union and to develop a sense of community as Europeans. It was intended to improve learning motivation, digital and language skills.

While the project emphasized creative practical activities, we also focussed on studying the key theoretical principles of sustainability. To enhance learning, we visited relevant sites such as companies, dams and museums and organized various workshops to deepen students' knowledge. Additionally, we arranged trips to endangered areas to highlight the urgency of our topic. Beyond our school communities, we engaged the public by planning activities and collaborating with local organizations to amplify the project's impact. As part of our project, we carried out international meetings in each partner country, focussing on real actions to combat the Climate Crisis. Each meeting emphasized a specific subtopic of sustainable environmental issues: 1. Zero Waste and Recycling 2. Sustainable Water 3. Biodiversity Loss Before each meeting, students conducted research, collected data, and prepared presentations on the relevant subtopic, which served as introduction into the matter. During the meetings, participants compared and discussed the situation in their respective countries with regard to the sub-topic and dealt creatively with the issue producing posters, short films or video clips, planting trees and upcycling clothes.

We had two main products. 1. A "Tips Guideline E-book" focused on the subtopic, which summarises our findings. 2. Short videos showcasing the participants' internalized environmental habits. Other outputs: various presentations on potable water, biodiversity, waste problem moodboards, posters, stop motions, video clips related to the sub-topics Other results for students and staff: - raised interest in environmental topics such as Biodiversity, Recycling, Zero Waste, Pollution, Sustainable water - knowing more about the EU's ecological efforts, standards and goals (Green Deal, Blue Deal) - stronger feeling as Europeans, sharing European values - greater acceptance of diversity in opinions, views, attitudes and behaviour - better understanding of cultural differences - improved digital skills producing environmental-tips brochures, posters and films - improved team-work skills both nationally and internationally - strengthened communicative and English language skills - grown self-confidence and civic engagement - increased learning motivation - getting to know other countries and habits widened the horizons - made international friends or at least contacts - appreciation of great chances the Erasmus+ Programme offers
