Our objectives included: -Raising awareness of solid waste among students,teachers and families. -Increasing students’ awareness of the 5R principles (Reject,Reduce,Reuse,Recycle,Recover). -Raising awareness about the harmful effects of solid wastes on marine pollution,environment,economy and human health. -Disseminating good practices in different ways and platforms. -Promoting behavioral change through artistic,scientific and civic activities. -Building international partnerships and engaging in environmental actions locally and abroad. -Enhancing language and digital skills through international cooperation and digital platforms. -Integrating NGO experiences and school curricula for long-term sustainability. -Increasing European values in our students, including fostering a sense of European belonging and promoting cultural exchange between Turkey,Italy and Spain. -Enhancing knowledge of European institutions working on solid waste management. -Contributing to the priorities and topics of Erasmus+ by fostering civic participation through environmental protection,raising students’ awareness of solid waste pollution and biodiversity loss, promoting social innovation via artistic and outdoor activities and disseminating outcomes.

We implemented eTwinning events, three international mobilities, and numerous local activities. Each mobility (Turkey, Italy, and Spain) focused on environmental education and outdoor learning to address the project's various goals. During the eTwinning events, we shared our sculptures, videos, and research through presentations, creating opportunities for debate and virtual conferences. Throughout the mobilities, we continued our research and carried out presentations, posters, radio podcasts, flash mobs, and photography contests. We also conducted visits to waste management facilities and collected and analyzed river samples. As a culminating activity, we hosted a final congress—streamed online—to share our results with the broader community. Dissemination was further strengthened through posters, a website, local exhibitions, and a digital toolkit. To conclude the project, students and families participated in a plastic-free lunch.

-A 30-minute short film about naturals disasters and ideas about how to manage the solid waste from these disasters (earthquakes, river floods, etc) -Sculptures and exhibitions made from solid waste. -Photo contest in each mobility related to 5R. -Scientific data on river pollution from Spain and Italy. -Increased environmental awareness, reflected in pre/post surveys. -Participation of multiple students and families. -Research the management of different types of solid waste such as clothing, plastic, and electronic appliances, and to present the findings in poster format to educate other students. -Different flash mobs in the school and in the city like the shopping center to implicate the school mates, the families and the citizens. -A final congress broadcast online to present all the conclusion about the project, specially how to reduce solid waste -A eco-lunch free-plastic to create awareness in the community. -A project website, podcast, digital materials (Friday toolkit), reusable bags -We also achieved unexpected results: deeper family engagement, spontaneous student initiatives, and new alliances with local institutions or between countries.
