▶Objectives
We plan to reach approximately 500 students and 60 teachers from all partner schools, parents and local community. These students will learn about what they can do in order to protect the environment: recycle, reduce water waste, calculate the carbon footprint, etc. By implementing this project we also aim to give teachers activities ideas and resources they can use with small children in order to raise awareness on this subject and also to create a network of organisations (schools and NGOs).
▶Activities
We will start with a kick-off meeting with teachers from each organisation in order to establish all the details about the implementation and dissemination of the project. The main activities will be the short-term exchanges of groups of pupils which will take place in every partner country and each of these activities will have a specific theme, as described in the project. Beside this activities each school will organise dissemination events and other local activities according to their tasks.
▶Impact
Our main priority for this project is making people aware about the current situation and try to find solutions to protect the environment and join the fight against climate change. We believe that if we start with young students we can make a change. If from young ages children realize that they live in a community and that their actions impact everyone around them they will become better citizens and will shape the face of the Earth. We also aim to develop key competences in our students.
