With Think Green!, we aimed to promote responsible, sustainable behaviour among students, starting with their immediate surroundings: school, home, and city. We wanted to address climate change through education, using critical thinking and collaborative work to reflect on our daily habits and transform them. The project encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly practices such as recycling, composting, cleaning natural areas, and reducing the use of paper, water, and electricity. We also sought to strengthen European cooperation through environmental action, fostering shared responsibility and solidarity. The project offered students opportunities to connect with others across the continent, exchanging good practices and learning together. In short, we aimed to raise awareness and build lasting habits of care for the planet through education. Our objective was to provide an active, interdisciplinary approach to environmental learning that combines theory and hands-on experiences, motivating students to act, reflect, and lead change.

We implemented five short-term mobilities for the activities, each focusing on a different environmental theme: - In Spain, Let’s Think Green! introduced the project and focused on green mobility, energy transition, and school sustainability. - In Poland, Be Water addressed water management and biodiversity through field visits and eco-sports. - In Slovenia, Biodiversity Ambassadors explored the role of pollinators and ecosystems via workshops and cultural exchange. - In Portugal, Recycle Your Life promoted circular economy values through reuse workshops, industry visits, and a recycled materials. - In Romania, Ride Your Life connected environmental responsibility with health and wellbeing through activities in nature, school presentations and creative recycling and sustainable mobility. All mobilities included intercultural learning, creativity, and community involvement. Preparatory, coordination, and evaluation tasks were carried out throughout the project, with teacher meetings ensuring quality and coherence.

The project generated a wide range of tangible and intangible results. Concrete outputs included awareness campaigns, posters, videos, and recycled objects created during workshops and disseminated within each school and local community. Each mobility produced digital presentations, collaborative exhibitions, and creative materials shared online and through eTwinning. Students developed knowledge about sustainability, biodiversity, water management, and circular economy, while improving their communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. The project fostered a culture of environmental responsibility in the schools involved, encouraged daily ecological habits, and strengthened cooperation among students and teachers from different European contexts. It also promoted innovation in teaching practices and built a lasting European network of eco-conscious schools. Beyond the activities, Think Green! left a strong sense of shared values, European citizenship, and commitment to sustainable development.
