Through this project, we aimed to foster intercultural understanding and social inclusion among primary school students from Spain, Türkiye, and Greece by using music as a shared means of communication and expression. We wanted students to develop creativity, artistic sensitivity, and empathy towards other cultures while improving their linguistic and digital competences. The project also sought to strengthen cooperation among teachers through the exchange of good practices in music education, promoting innovative and collaborative methodologies. Additionally, it aimed to enhance the sense of European identity and active citizenship by presenting cultural diversity as a shared source of enrichment. Overall, the project aspired to create more open, participatory school communities aware of music’s power to connect people and cultures.

During the project, all five planned activities were successfully implemented, combining in-person and virtual exchanges among Spain, Türkiye, and Greece. The first, “Music and Culture” (Spain), explored the link between music and cultural identity through workshops on Spanish traditions and instruments. The second, “Music and Language” (virtual, Türkiye), promoted linguistic learning through songs in the three partner languages. In the third, “Music and Technology” (Türkiye), participants composed, recorded, and edited an original trilingual song, integrating musical elements from each country and using digital music production tools. The fourth, “Music and Emotion” (virtual, Greece), encouraged students to express feelings through music and movement. Finally, “Music and Social Change” (Greece) demonstrated how music can promote inclusion, cooperation, and social engagement. All activities strengthened creativity, digital competence, and intercultural dialogue.

The project produced tangible educational and cultural outcomes. Among the main achievements was the creation of an original trilingual song (Spanish, Turkish, and Greek), collaboratively composed, recorded, and edited by students and teachers from the three partner countries. This final product stands as a symbol of unity and intercultural understanding through music. Additionally, digital teaching materials and audiovisual resources were developed and integrated into classrooms, using music as a tool for inclusion and dialogue. Teachers enhanced their methodological, digital, and linguistic competences and built a sustainable network of cooperation among schools. Students developed musical, communicative, and social skills, reinforcing values such as respect, empathy, and teamwork. The project results were disseminated through school concerts, public presentations, and social media, increasing visibility and impact within the educational community.
