- To familiarise the teacher and students with new and fascinating media, the Immersing Reality (IR), not only as users but also as content creators - To enhance the student's European identity by taking virtually part in cultural events around EU - To enhance teacher's skills in using IR in their lessons - To use the cultural heritage to teach various lessons
▶Activities
During the implementation of this project, the partnership will encourage students as well as the surrounding community to discover the cultures of other EU countries by taking part in the events, learn about the cultural elements and the historical background, discover the similarities among the civilizations which will lead to enhance their European identity. Moreover, training events and collaboration between the partners, research on best practices will be among the project's activities.
▶Impact
Overall, 360 material on selected cultural events from all over the year (365) will be produced in a way that students will use as part of their lesson or as a stand-alone application by using the latest technology. Furthermore, teachers will be provided with guidelines, lesson plans, and suggestions on how to use pedagogically the produced material in their lessons. Finally, a training platform for teachers will be developed to learn how to use the material or create their own.
