▶Objectives
The objectives of the CARE4YOUTH project are: - Upskilling young people in the care system and care leavers. - Promoting the social inclusion and well-being of young people in care. - Enhancing the employability of the target group by helping them develop entrepreneurship and digital skills, and providing them with practical job search support. - Raising awareness of the challenges faced by young people in care and care leavers and promoting a more positive image of them in society.
▶Activities
The project will be characterised by the implementation of 4 Working Packages: - WP1: Project Coordination and Administration. - WP2: Analysis of best practices and stakeholders, co-creation of CARE4YOUTH methodology, and transnational capacity building workshop. - WP3: Development and implementation of non-formal training and outdoor sporting activities. - WP4: Dissemination and exploitation: dissemination activities, e-Toolkit and Final Conference.
▶Impact
The expected results of the project are: - Implementation of a training and sporting activity programme in the project case studies. - Development of innovative approaches for people working with the target group. - Increased awareness of the challenges faced by young people in the care system. - Enhanced cooperation between social services, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders. - An e-Toolkit with the project final results and materials replicable in other organisations and countries.
