In essence, the project sought to transform cultural heritage into a living resource for education, civic engagement, and social cohesion, while empowering both trainers and learners to become active citizens in their communities. By implementing the project, we aimed to achieve several interconnected goals: Promote innovation in adult education through heritage: We wanted to develop and test new activities/projects that use cultural and natural heritage as powerful tools for learning, inclusion, and civic engagement. Strengthen civic participation: A key aim was to encourage local communities to actively participate in the preservation, promotion, and management of their heritage, fostering a stronger sense of belonging, democracy, and European identity. We wanted to equip adult educators with new skills in communication, intercultural learning, and heritage-based teaching so they can design more engaging and inclusive activities. Another achievement was the creation of a sustainable European network of organizations working on heritage, citizenship, and adult education, ensuring long-term collaboration beyond this project.

3 international mobilities, training at local level, new local projects inspired by the partners during the visits. Many local activities for the dissemination of the Faro convention network and values. We created 12 new activities/projects, 3 per partner, designed to promote local heritage, local initiatives for the requalification of abandoned areas, engage local communities in art and heritage projects. 4 podcasts. Training on the use of multumedia, ICT and AI for hritage promotion. Final conference in Belgium.

12 activities/projects, described with a template, replicable and usable by other local organizations. 1 international conference. A project website https://heritagecivicengagement.org/ Tangible material used for information and dissemination of the project. 4 open events in each partner country to sensitize people on the values of the Faro Convention. 4 podcasts aimed to explain the rich heritage of the 4 different towns. 1 podcast about the project for blind people that can get information about our Erasmus+ Journey. 1 research work, Italian partner, on a specific heritage site (Palazzo della Corgna) with 3D reconstruction of the ancient gardens during the Renaissance age. 4 local events open to the community, overall to representatives of social and cultural organizations.
