▶Objectives
The first objective of this project was therefore to be able to set up the three parts of the competition (French, Spanish and European), in the most satisfactory way possible. The significant participation of apprentices, the organization of the three ceremonies and the creation of digital spaces communicating were the concrete expressions of this. It was then a question of creating a link between French and Spanish apprentices, through the contests, the ceremonies, but also the link between the two video platforms. Another major objective of this action was to develop the attractiveness of vocational training for all types of careers and levels. Indeed, the videos must show the entire range of careers accessible through vocational training, and thus encourage users to start or continue their educational pathways. The objective was also to significantly target young people at level 4 and below. This project represents a first step towards a broader European cooperation to connect young learners in vocational training across Europe, develop their sense of belonging to Europe, broaden their horizons and encourage their mobility.
▶Activities
The first activity was the structuring of the two national video contests. This crucial step itself consisted of five sub-activities: planning the key timeframes of the project, defining the terms of the video contest, creating its visual identity, developing a communication plan, and thinking about organizing the awards ceremony. Carried out in parallel, the second activity consisted of creating links between the dissemination tools of the two structures: promoting the partner's videos on each site, and installing direct links to the other platform. The next step was to set up the video contests. Thus, each of the two national contests was structured into 4 phases: registration phase, video submission phase, voting and organization of the awards ceremony. To conclude these contests, a European event was organized. The objective was to allow the national winners to meet and to immerse them in a European environment, as well as electing the European winners. Finally, the last phase of this project was the promotion of the videos, particularly among actors involved in education and career guidance as well as professional integration.
▶Impact
The first significant result of the structuring of the contests is the good transmission of the principle and rules of the contests to the Bertelsmann Foundation. The visual identities were harmonized, a common retroplanning was built, and a common communication plan was structured. The two websites are functional and ergonomic. The links were made in a relevant manner, which led to an increase in the number of views of the videos and on the websites. After the implementation, the first notable result was the registration of a perfectly satisfying number of young people, for both ANAF and Fundación Bertelsmann. Numerous juries and spectators with varied profiles were mobilized for the ceremonies. Finally, these benefited from good media coverage through numerous articles and social media posts. For the European event, a large number of winners were present. They were able to exchange and create real links, in an atmosphere that lent itself to interculturality. This was made possible by a programme combining informal times, a private visit to the European Parliament and a European awards ceremony.
