Objectives

Our project aim is to give hard and soft skills, related to civil protection and survival skills to youngsters, especially marginalised young people or youngsters who live in rural areas. Thus they can improve their employability, can become active members of the society, and can be prepared and able to act in the case of the main emergency situations. With our project we also would like to improve recognition of youth work, and recognition of the youth work in a cross-field setting.

Activities

In the project’s lifetime we produce a civil protection and survival skills guide for youth workers and civil protection workers. We plan that this handbook will be available for everyone to download from the project’s website in five languages and limited printed copy will be available, too. In the second phase we train sixteen youth workers or civil protection workers to be able to deliver a course. In the last stage pilot groups will take part in this course.
