Objectives

The main objective of the Net0Manager project is to improve the skills and capabilities of EU managers in carbon management by innovating net0 approaches and strategies to be adopted within SMEs. The project aims to improve the carbon literacy skills of trainers and vocational training managers through new training approaches that ensure innovation and flexibility in vocational education and respond to students' needs through a more flexible and student-centred form of education, while also promoting inclusiveness, accessibility and equal opportunities, including through the use of micro-credentials. To achieve this objective, the project involves the development of: 1) a Net 0 management training toolkit offering a modular training course consisting of 6 modules; 2) an online training platform on carbon management to ensure open and flexible training, organised in such a way to facilitate flexible and personalised exploration and transfer into real-life practices; 3) Net0Manager Policy recommendations to improve regulation on the professional profile of carbon managers and the recognition of skills.

Activities

The partners created a shared skills map and a training path to define the skills of Net0Managers. An online training platform was developed with open educational resources and training content to develop the key skills needed for an SME to be a leader in the future. A training methodology was created that describes how to implement the results of Net0Manager in vocational training, along with a set of policy recommendations for stakeholders in the system. To make the results useful and applicable, workshops, pilot training courses, conferences and focus groups were organised, involving both actors from the world of work and stakeholders from the training and education sector.

Impact

The results of the Net0Manager project are: a training toolkit containing a skills map, training modules and a training methodology, together with an online learning platform that includes open educational resources linked to micro-credentials to enable students to build a personalised learning path for carbon management strategies in SMEs. A policy recommendation has been developed on the integration of Net0Manager skills and micro-credentials into the vocational education and training system of Europe and partners countries. All results are available online: https://www.net0manager.eu/ in English, Hungarian, Italian, Turkish, Lithuanian and Spanish.
