2GATHER aims to support 5 youth organisations in developing new high-quality youth work activities on issues related to gender equality that are relevant to young people. Specifically, the project intents to reinforce the capacity of 15 youth workers (YWs) to apply an intersectional approach to gender equality and to ensure safe learning environments for the safeguarding of the emotional wellbeing of participants facing gender inequalities and other forms of intersecting social discriminations.

After implementing local surveys, 15 YWs will cooperate to: - co-design, test and validate i) a youth work activity on gender issues and ii) methods and tools to ensure emotional resilience when addressing controversial issues of gender equality in youth work - support a cooperative of artists to produce a Silent Play on gender equality - define procedures for gender inclusiveness in youth work and elaborate ideas for follow-up actions - train multipliers and disseminate the project results

The main project result is a toolkit including: - a guide for implementing youth work activities on gender equality - a manual to promote emotional resilience and ensure a safe learning environment when addressing controversial issues - a tutorial to perform a Silent Play on gender equality - guidelines and new project ideas to promote gender inclusiveness in youth work In addition, 75 multipliers will be trained on the toolkit and 15.000 people will be informed about the the project results.
