The general aim of MIRETAGE is to increase civic engagement and participation through adult education around minority religious heritage. Specific objectives are 1. Diagnose current needs around minority religious heritage in Europe 2. Enable adult learners of minority religious backgrounds to engage in inclusive heritage-making activities 3. Develop new methods of inclusive heritage education 4. Disseminate outputs through European heritage and education networks

WP1: Management, knowledge exchange, evaluation WP2: Survey of inclusion of religious minorities in European heritage; identify existing methods in heritage education WP3: Develop pilot heritage trails with stakeholders in the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain; create training methods, digital maps and learning tools WP4: Bring methods to adult educators in grassroots and heritage organizations: guidelines and training events WP5: Build results into existing European heritage and education networks

β–ΆImpact

WP2: Report on current European minority heritage education based on research and surveys of heritage organizations and minority communities. WP3: Toolkit for building, digitizing and teaching with minority heritage trails to be used by a variety of institutions, making them more inclusive and innovative. WP4: Guidelines on the use of tools by adult educators to improve their competences. WP5: Sustainable dissemination of outputs in existing European heritage, education and community networks.
