▶Objectives
1. Enhance cooperation and further refine didactic methods, including clearly defined roles and structured frameworks for student reflection and assessment in workplace practice. 2. Prepare students to become a sustainable workforce equipped to meet future labor demands by developing their soft skills, social skills, work skills, and core competencies. In other words, support the growth of their professional competence and identity. 3. Create effective methods to share the project’s insights with teachers, school leaders, and national educational authorities. 4. Foster collaboration and exchange experiences with transnational partners, enabling the continued development of didactic methods. Together, we will adapt frameworks for student reflection and workplace assessment to suit the contexts of different countries. 5. Gain insights into the education systems of other countries to better prepare our students for future expectations and ensure their readiness as part of a sustainable workforce. 6. Develop a practical and effective digital solution for sharing the project’s knowledge with teachers, school leaders, and national educational authorities across countries.
▶Activities
Teams meetings with the project participants and representatives from Italy, Poland and Portugal. Physical meetings, at Gardermoen and closing meeting in Bucharesti. And also meetings in Warsaw and Wroclaw, to check if the outlines of the projects would suit the education system in Poland. One of the activities should have been in Brussel, but due to logistics and flight prices we decided, together with all the partners, to meet in Oslo instead. Erasmus+ digital and physical trainings. We have translated the documents into English, made explanatory videos in english and an AR experience using the Employability skills form for the understanding of sustainability. Regarding the Norwegian events we have attended, they have led to further development and started prosesses to use some of our documents. We have contributed and advised other fields in adaptation and development of new norwegian versions of some of our documents for travelling business, administration, transportation, electricians, healthcare and childcare.
▶Impact
We have now a better understanding of how other countries organize their VET teaching in the boundary between school and workplace practice. Poland are not yet ready to establish a tripartite cooperation, this was because the Polish students has to take responsibility for their own workplace practice, wich they carry out during their vacations, totally different from Norway, and what we expected. The schools and teachers are not involved. This is why Poland wasn't relevant for our project. We have established contact with teachers in other countries and they find cooperation interesting. They want to develop a local version of our model. Documents translated into English (some to Rumanian, Polish and Portuguese). Video, explaining the core elements of the model. Video for teachers to use with their students regarding the employability form as a follow up after working with the form several times. AR experience sustainability theme task were developed and tested with Norwegian students.
