▶Objectives
In implementing the project 'MASTER OF ENERGY MANAGEMENT - renewable energy in practice' we aimed to enhance the quality and attractiveness of vocational education in construction-related and electrical professions within the renewable energy sector. A key objective was to develop an innovative training curriculum tailored to the real demands of the labor market, encompassing theoretical content, practical exercises, and the construction of an off-grid installation, which would serve as a practical training platform for all students. Additionally, we sought to improve the competencies of teachers and instructors regarding modern teaching methods and photovoltaic installation techniques. Another important goal was to actively engage students, nurture their vocational interests, and enable them to acquire certified skills. Furthermore, we aimed to strengthen international collaboration, facilitate the exchange of best practices, and implement solutions that promote social inclusion and support digital and ecological transformation.
▶Activities
We applied for the implementation of the project 'MASTER OF ENERGY MANAGEMENT - renewable energy in practice' to address the identified need for modernizing and enhancing vocational education in the field of renewable energy sources. A key impetus was the low appeal of existing curricula at our technical school, which—lacking practical and multimedia elements—failed to meet the real expectations of the labor market or the interests of students. The project also aimed to counteract declining motivation among young people studying technical professions and to strengthen teachers' competencies through the introduction of modern teaching methods and digital content. Implementing the project allowed us to respond to the needs of disadvantaged groups (youth from rural areas and lower-income backgrounds) and supported digital and ecological transformation in line with Erasmus+ program priorities.
