The main objective of the project is to develop an innovative educational subject entitled „Environmental and outdoor education working methods”and didactic materials for students and teachers, available on-line. The course includes 30 hours of outdoor practical classes in the summer semester and will lead to the implementation of learning outcomes for 2 ECTS credits, aimed at developing pro-environmental sensitivity (green skills) and soft skills in students in their personal development and future professional careers. The specific project objectives were: supporting the development of ecological and environmental education; acquiring knowledge and skills in outdoor education: stimulating innovative learning and teaching in outdoor education; and shaping the skills needed to promote sustainable development (green skills) of students. The objectives are appropriately aligned with the selected priorities of the European Union policy: stimulating innovative learning and teaching practices; supporting the development of digital and green higher education; It was important to increase the ecological awareness of participants and promote sustainable development and an ecological lifestyle through active methods and cooperation.

Agreements regarding cooperation in the project were signed with the Partner Universities, and they were paid installments of funds for the implementation of project tasks. A Steering Group (SG) was established, responsible for the strategic management of the project. The project was managed on an ongoing basis, and thanks to effective monitoring and good communication, all activities planned in the GANTT chart were implemented as planned. A project website was launched at https://international.akademiabialska.pl/projekty-miedzynarodowe/ecostyle/o-projekcie, which provides all project information. An analysis of student educational needs in the field of environmental education was conducted by the partners at the five universities where they conduct their research and teaching activities. Based on the teachers' research and teaching experiences, a joint subject program entitled "Environmental and Outdoor Education Working Methods" was developed to achieve learning outcomes in a multicultural group. Four international mobilities were implemented, as well as a conference disseminating the project results. An e-book was developed: theory and practice in ecological and outdoor methods, as well as video and didactic materials.

Based on the exchange of international experiences, a subject curriculum, e-book, videos, and teaching materials, as well as a certificate template, were developed. The e-book served as a compendium of knowledge on innovative ecological teaching methods and practices supporting the development of ecological competences (green skills) in the higher education sector. The videos were intended to visually present eco-methods, facilitating their implementation and encouraging the practical application of innovative teaching and learning methods. Innovative learning and teaching methods were developed, addressing the needs of society, students, and faculty. These methods can be transferred to partner organizations and other institutions, encouraging engagement in various pro-ecological activities consistent with sustainable development goals, involving the community, and promoting them externally. The project included a series of ecological workshops, lectures, study visits, local activities, and international meetings of project partners. Project participants were engaged in practical classes, fieldwork, and the co-creation of educational materials. Collaboration between institutions from various countries played a key role.
