Objectives

INNLocal will co-design training and capability-building programs and continuously redesign local public services using mission-oriented innovation, digital-based solutions, and future-oriented methodologies. The aim is to create valuable and practical solutions that can adapt to the ever-changing needs of civil society while also establishing new local public policies to address complex challenges (environmental sustainability, diversity and inclusion, and citizenship and participation).

Activities

INNLocal aims to establish an innovative ecosystem that promotes future-oriented methodologies and provides learning, teaching, and training opportunities. This includes offering active learning opportunities, skills development programs, and modules for micro-credentials. In addition, these activities will involve civil society in and through local public administration, particularly regarding environmental sustainability, diversity and inclusion, and citizenship and participation.

Impact

By conceptualizing multidisciplinary, cross-sectoral, and inter-HEIs knowledge co-creation, INNLocal seeks to create innovative local public services. This involves collaboration between teams from different HEIs and knowledge co-creation teams, transferring research results back to education, and engaging local public administration. The expected outcomes are co-creating innovative solutions and enhancing local public services to address complexes in society better.
