Building Capacity and VET for Migrants Care Workers in Europe
โถObjectives
Building Capacity and VET for Migrant Care Workers in Europe (VET CARE) project aims to provide practical and useful answers regarding qualifications for the labour market, in the segment of long-term care services, contributing for integration and social inclusion of migrants, one of the major workforce in this area. Also aims at transfer knowledge from different levels of stakeholders, contributing for implementing a logic of national/transnational cooperation and partnership in the sector.
โถActivities
(i) Identifying good practices developed at European level regarding formal and informal training on long-term care services; (ii) Characterizing migrants care workers at European level near local NGOs working with migrants, employment centers and care networks; (iii) assessing training needs; (iv) developing an e-learning course/materials to answer sector current demands; (v) create a training toolkit on long-term care work; (vi) providing a pilot-pool model proposal.
