Artificial intelligence has the potential to revolutionize education, particularly for students with diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities and special needs. However, many educators and institutions lack the knowledge, skills, and resources to integrate artificial intelligence effectively. To address this gap, this project explores the use of artificial intelligence tools for the inclusion of students with disabilities and special needs in Higher Education Institutions.
▶Activities
In the project we are going to: - explore the potential of AI technologies and AI tools for inclusive education, - foster teachers' innovation in the field of AI integration in inclusive education, - develop innovative teaching practices in the field of inclusive education with AI, - develop innovative e-learning resources (OER), - pilot developed courses for teachers and - organize co-design and validation workshops.
▶Impact
In the project we are going to develop: - Framework and Guidelines for AI integration in inclusive education, - Collection of good practices of AI integration in inclusive education, - E-learning platform and Online course for teachers and - 4 multiplier events for dissemination of the project results.
