▶Objectives
The project aimed to: Enable migrant women to turn fashion-related skills into income. Support vocational education trainers working in adult learning, career guidance, or business training—especially those unfamiliar with the sustainable textile sector—by giving them the tools to help learners explore green and inclusive career opportunities. Develop accessible digital content promoting digital autonomy and inclusion.
▶Activities
The consortium included BildungsLAB (Austria), CRADLE (Greece), Compass (Austria), and the Bulgarian Fashion Association. Two tailored e-learning platforms were developed—one for migrant women (adult female learners from e.g. Ukraine or non-European Union countries, often with limited access to formal education or career guidance, may have skills or interest in fashion but face barriers like language or business legal know-how restrictions). and one for Vocational Educational Trainers (professionals working in adult education, career orientation, and job application support without expertise in the sustainable fashion industry) they guide learners toward employment and integration.—with microlearning content, worksheets, and assessment tools. Pilot trainings were delivered in Austria and Greece. A Trainer Handbook (English, German, Greek, Bulgarian), an Assessment Guide, and Lesson Plan and Glossary supported implementation. Following the closure of the original hosting platform Lernpfad.ch, all materials were migrated to the e-learning platform Zebis.digital for long-term access.
▶Impact
Two open-access e-learning platforms (English, German, Greek, Bulgarian) promoting sustainable entrepreneurship. Increased digital confidence and entrepreneurial awareness among migrant women. Vocational Educational Trainers gained resources for embedding sustainability and entrepreneurship in their teaching for vocational or career guidance. Strong transnational collaboration and dissemination, including one podcast episode, social media outreach, and a final event in Bulgaria. The project supports EU priorities on inclusion, digital transformation, green skills, and access to learning for underrepresented groups. All resources are freely available and adaptable for use across Europe.
