The main goal of the project was to create a transnationally functional toolbox of creative, art- and music-based methods tailored for adult educators working with marginalized communities. We aimed to equip educators with practical, low-threshold tools to foster empowerment, self-expression, and a sense of belonging among participants – without requiring a therapeutic background. Our objectives included: (1) identifying and testing effective methods in both partner countries, (2) improving the professional competence of adult educators in culturally diverse settings, (3) developing a digital, multilingual manual accessible to a wide range of practitioners, and (4) strengthening the collaboration between two European organizations through shared learning and co-creation. The project also contributed to the Erasmus+ priorities of inclusion, diversity, and improving the competences of adult educators. Ultimately, the project aimed to make adult education more inclusive, accessible, and impactful across different social and cultural contexts.

The project consisted of several well-structured activities. It began with a kick-off and project management phase, followed by a 6-day international meeting in Gran Canaria, where both partners exchanged and explored methods in local workshops. These methods were then tested in eight local pilot workshops per partner, targeting marginalized communities in Berlin and Gran Canaria. Insights and feedback from these activities informed the co-development of a shared toolbox. A second 6-day transnational meeting in Berlin allowed partners to collaboratively evaluate results and finalize the selection of methods. The final phase included the development of a digital toolbox manual in English, Spanish, and German, with support from a graphic designer and a translator. A dissemination campaign was carried out via social media, newsletters, and direct outreach to networks. The project concluded with an online webinar presenting the toolbox to educators and stakeholders across Europe.

The main output of the project is a digital toolbox manual available in English, Spanish, and German. It contains 14 creative, easy-to-apply methods based on art, music, and movement, specifically designed for adult educators working with marginalized communities. Each method includes clear instructions for preparation, facilitation, and reflection. The manual has been shared with over 40 organizations and disseminated via social media, newsletters, and a public webinar. Additionally, both partner organizations increased their capacity in transnational cooperation and method development. Adult educators participating in the project enhanced their skills in inclusive education and creative facilitation. Marginalized community members benefitted from local workshops, which fostered empowerment and social connection. The toolbox's open, adaptable format ensures wide transferability across various educational and cultural contexts, strengthening its long-term impact.
