▶Objectives
The aim of the project "InclusionTandem" is to improve the competences of educators and other staff in adult education in relation to the topic of inclusion and to increase the participation of PWD as experts in their own right in this context. The project promotes diversity and inclusive participation, enables PWD to participate and shape educational opportunities and strengthens democratic processes.
▶Activities
In a development process, principles, tools and recommendations for action are worked out, based on artistic action, both within the organisation and with the participation of external educational staff and PWD. National and bi-national workshops alternate with reflection, evaluation and documentation phases. National pilot projects and the dissemination of the results are also part of the activities.
▶Impact
The expected results are concrete, disseminable recommendations for action and tools for educational staff in adult education to make educational processes more inclusive in practice. This includes impulses for inclusive workshop designs and exercises to make an inclusive mindset tangible. This goes hand in hand with raising awareness for the topic of inclusion in organisational networks and the increasing participation of PWD in these processes.
