▶Objectives
The project goal is to reduce the rate of illness among working people as well as a better quality of life and productive participation in working life in the EU. Employers and their specialists in occupational health management (BGM) receive learning materials that they can use to supplement or build up their in-house health management. In particular, economically disadvantaged and small companies are relieved by this free, low-threshold offer.
▶Activities
Learning materials for company health promotion are provided, along with the opportunity to take advantage of bio and neurofeedback. The learning materials are made available free of charge in various languages on an online platform. Remote health trainers are certified to specifically address workplace-related health needs. A study carried out in the project quantifies the economic benefits of WHM for small companies.
▶Impact
This project will contribute to workplace-related health promotion across the EU by making low-threshold offers available to all employers and professionals in the EU. The online format makes the content easily accessible and can also be used in economically underdeveloped regions. This means that small companies in particular are reached and occupational groups from low-wage sectors that are at risk of health are included.
