Objectives

S.O.1 Learn from worldwide best practices in upcycling to develop creative and world-leading mentoring programmes; S.O.2 Leverage on design-thinking, to encourage a bottom-up approach to youth entrepreneurship that contributes of European targets; S.O.3 Create real opportunities for young people with fewer opportunities to establish youth-led upcycling businesses and youth work across Europe.

Activities

The project involves the development of a MOOC to build the capacity of EU youth workers in supporting youth-led upcycling business. Then, 20 young people from poorer socioeconomic areas will take part in design thinking camps and develop their own creative upcycling business ideas, testing it out and learning about environmental impact and good practices worldwide. Finally, an international mobility in Estonia will award the best business ideas and provide business support to the participants.
