Small-farming requires management of farms of diverse types & sizes in which family members work. Farming and entrepreneurship are two different concepts but are interrelated. Smallholder farming becomes highly relevant to income generation if farmers become market-oriented and are transformed into innovative and forward-looking entrepreneurs. Our project scopes to provide information, knowledge and guidance to cover gaps and leverage the potential of smallholder farmers for business resilience.
