▶Objectives
The primary goal of this project was to empower school communities to actively contribute to combating climate change by combining environmental education with digital innovation. The aim was to cultivate a generation of students who are both environmentally aware and technologically equipped to design and implement sustainable solutions. We sought to highlight how technology—especially Artificial Intelligence (AI)—can contribute to climate change adaptation. Technology, from being a source of environmental problems, becomes part of the solution. We wanted students to recognize their role as active citizens, both locally and globally. We also aimed at institutional transformation; we acknowledged that long-term change requires strengthening capacities within schools and aligning with the broader EU policy frameworks. One of the added values of Erasmus+ projects is the opportunity for international collaboration and exchange. We sought to leverage the diverse cultural and educational perspectives of the partner schools. Finally, our project was closely aligned with the EU’s vision of equipping young people with key competences for lifelong learning.
