▶Objectives
EASY project aims is to boost employability and talent development in disadvantaged communities to provide rural and disadvantaged youth with innovative and demanded skills for decent job opportunities through - Overcoming skills mismatch by addressing the emerging needs of the labour market; - Increasing the employability of youth through the provision and acquisition of enduring skills and capacities; - Empowering disadvantaged youth to participate in social and economic life.
▶Activities
VALIDATION: carry participatory assessments to validate identified needs and update the list of required skills; DEVELOPMENT: design respective learning and training materials that convey the required skills based on the assessments; CAPACITATION: reskill and upskill the youth through newly designed opportunities such as the online course, piloting, and transnational mobilities; ADVOCACY: provide policy recommendations and establish dialogue and open-ended consultations with policymakers.
