▶Objectives
CLYP objectives are: - Provide & equip youth organisations with the framework, methods, and tools for starting Civic Labs for Young People - cross-sectorial innovative spaces for youth personal “incubation” and community project experimentation. - Promote & support: 1) the development of young people’s self-confidence and resilience for civic and social engagement; 2) the young people’s civic engagement and social entrepreneurship initiatives, through programmes to experiment, fail, and grow.
▶Activities
The activities are designed as an innovation challenge, following the three steps of innovation: 1) Inspiration: design the Civic Lab for Young People's framework - the methodologies for setting up the youth engagement context. 2) Ideation: design the space of the CLYP, developing the non-formal methods & tools to support the young people in building their self-confidence and resilience. 3) Implementation: pilot & test CLYP with 125 young people, and disseminate it to 150 other youth workers.
▶Impact
CLYP aims to achieve the following outcomes: -Methodologies for building the Civic Lab for Young People’s infrastructure and framework. -Methods and tools to support the youth sector: the guide to youth engagement; "Self-Incubation" Cards&Journeys;Small-Wins Programme, piloted with at least 150 young people. -The Academy to equip at least 150 youth workers to implement the CLYP model. -Sustainability Strategies co-developed with at least 95 stakeholders from the social innovation quintuple helix
