The main goal of the project was to foster individual, organizational and community learning that generates connections, social responsibility and sustainable development. The objectives were: -To establish cooperation between two organizations in adult education that will improve the quality of their work for sustainable development. -To grow people’s capacity to connect in regenerative ways and develop communities. -To create educational content about self-development, community development and regenerative lifestyles.
▶Activities
The project we implemented the following activities: - a transnational seminar in Romania; - an online training of Offers and Needs Market facilitators and certification; - creation of educational articles and podcast episodes, on topics related to personal and community wellbeing, sustainable living, regenerative relationships, their translation in Icelandic and Romanian and testing their effectiveness; - implementation of Offers and Needs Markets in Iceland and Romania; - a webinar about regenerative lifestyles.
▶Impact
The project produced several concrete outputs: 8 web articles, 8 short videos, and 2 podcast episodesin English, Romanian and Icelandic, and a webinar in English, on topics of wellbeing, sustainability, regenerative practices, and social connection. A total of 20 Offers and Needs Market (OANM) events were organized in Romania and Iceland, reaching 91 participants in Romania and 108 in Iceland. 13 facilitators (7 from Mai Bine and 6 from Totelly) completed training and mentoring and were certified as OANM facilitators. These results supported peer learning, community building, and access to inclusive, open educational resources.
