▶Objectives
The YEI project aims to empower young Europeans in the equine sector by creating educational and collaborative platforms. Objectives include: 1) Launching an Equine Career & Innovation Guidebook to guide youth towards sustainable careers. 2) Offering Open Educational Resources to spur innovation and skill development. 3) Hosting a multi-national summit for networking and showcasing innovations. 4) Establishing a digital hub for continuous learning and collaboration. ▶Activities
To implement YEI, four Work Packages (WPs) will be carried out. WP1, led by Holar University, focuses on project management, ensuring smooth operation and goal alignment. WP2, by Coompanion Göteborg, creates an Equine Career Guidebook with a focus on green opportunity. WP3, managed by Momentum and EUEI, delivers OERs and portal targeting entrepreneurship, digital and environmental upskiling. WP4, directed by Kildare County Council, culminates in a carbon neutral Young Equine Innovators Summit.
▶Impact
YEI aims for concrete results across its WPs. WP2 will produce a guidebook serving as a career and innovation resource for at least 2,000 young equine enthusiasts. WP3 will create an open-source education platform that impacts a minimum of 3,000 learners and educators WP4 aims to host a carbon-neutral hybrid summit, engaging at least 150 participants and yielding 50+ actionable ideas for the industry.
