The STEPS project aims to address the issue of Early School Leaving by offering professional and personal development to the participating teachers, educators, and other teaching professionals. To achieve this, the following objectives have been set: -raise the awareness of Early School Leaving (ESL) and its consequences -propose long-lasting and sustainable strategies and practices on addressing the issue of ESL -train teachers and educators to adopt these strategies and approaches

STEPS foresees the following activities: Development of managerial documents: STEPS Management Plan, STEPS Quality Assurance & Risk Management Plan, STEPS Dissemination & Exploitation Plan C1: Conducting Research leading to the STEPS Handbook, which will include educational methodologies, best practices and a set of Guidelines C2: a TPM in Greece C3: a Training Activity in Spain Dissemination activities: creation of the project logo & website, Newsletters, Multiplier Event/Workshops, etc.

STEPS partnership has planned the following results and outcomes: -Mapping the status of Early School Leaving in partner countries -Best practices on Early School Leaving prevention -STEPS Handbook to tackle Early School Leaving -Strengthen the professional profiles of teachers and educators, by providing them with training and freely accessible resources
