โ–ถObjectives

We had the following objectives for this project: SO1: Develop a professional and attractive toolkit and training programme for people with disabilities, focused on testing the accessibility of the built environment, which is available online to a wide audience. SO2: Training people with disabilities in both countries using the toolkit under development, through the use of focus groups. SO3: Gain experience with Erasmus+ partnership projects for new organisations.

โ–ถActivities

The following activities were carried out during the project: 1. Project management; 2. Online kick-off, two transnational meetings, one of which was online; 3. Setting up sounding board groups that were actively involved throughout the project; 4. Short desk study; 5. Development of toolkit and training; 6. Training of the sounding board groups with the addition of an impact analysis in the form of a baseline and follow-up measurement; 7.Completion of toolkit and training; 8.Closing international workshop.

โ–ถImpact

With the active involvement of sounding board groups of experts by experience, we have developed a toolkit consisting of seven components with an accompanying training manual. This toolkit and training programme have been well received and are practical to use. In addition, an impact analysis shows that it increases the knowledge and experience of people with disabilities in how to test the accessibility of buildings in a test team.
