▶Objectives
SAFE project intends to safeguard the rights and facilitate the empowerment of children and teens aged 6-17 against bullying and other types of violence through the production, testing and validation of a psycho-education sport programme to tackle bullying in school context. The aim of this programme is to prevent dealing with bullying through conflict communication, building self-belief, physical skills and a resilient mindset. The major goal is inclusion/health promotion in children and teens.
▶Activities
SAFE project includes several activities: - field research among children, teens, parents and teachers; - design of the psycho-education sport programme; - production of teaching and learning aids to support the programme; - pilot implementation and validation of the programme and its resources; - sharing and multiplier events, including an online and TV anti-bullying campaign in the partners' countries, as well as an Info Day in each country by the occasion of World Day of Bullying Prevention.
▶Impact
The ultimate result of SAFE project is the safeguard of rights and the empowerment of children and teens against bullying and other types of violence. In concrete, the expected results are: - psycho-education sport programme to tackle bullying, supported by teaching/learning aids, in BG, EN and PT languages, duly piloted and validated by at least 48 learners and 8 professionals; - awareness raising on bullying and its effects via sharing and multiplier events targeting at least 1.5M people.
