▶Objectives
By implementing the project, we aim to empower voluntary tutors with skills to support migrant women in overcoming literacy and learning deficits, enhance access to language courses for migrant women, improve the competencies of adult learning staff, and foster inclusion and diversity in education, thereby facilitating the integration and participation of migrant women in society.
▶Activities
We will develop and implement a digitized tutor’s training course, conduct experts’ interviews for curriculum development, and train the first cohort of tutors/co-trainers. These activities aim to professionalize volunteer tutors, address learning deficits of migrant women, and promote accessibility to advanced educational resources, fostering an inclusive, diverse learning environment and enhancing the educational competencies of both tutors and learners.
▶Impact
We anticipate the project will result in a well-equipped, professionalized cadre of volunteer tutors, improved literacy and learning outcomes for migrant women, increased access to language courses, and enhanced educational competencies among staff. The project will foster inclusion, diversity, and community integration, creating a lasting impact and serving as a model for similar initiatives.
