Objectives

Our aim is to promote a positive school climate, using the playground as a tool, and through 2 areas of work: - Identifying conflict management techniques and the tools for implementing them in the playground and the school. - To develop a plan for the redevelopment of outdoor spaces, incorporating conflict management practices and the balanced use of space, and involving pupils in the reflection process.

Activities

We are going to implement three complementary activities: training for the staff concerned (teachers and educators) and research into good practice around the playground as a tool for living together better. Next, we will be organising workshops with the children to help them identify their own solutions and exchange ideas with peers from both countries. Finally, we will draw up a plan for redeveloping the playground, to be shared with our partners.

Impact

- Training for all two teaching teams in non-violent communication (more than 50 people trained). - Identification of 16 best practices on the use of the "playground" as a tool to support better living together. - Workshops on this theme with the children and discussion cycles with the partner. - Production of a plan for redesigning the playground, taking into account the well-being practices identified with the pupils.
