Objectives

Spiritual care is essential in caring for the whole person. It is the capacity to understand, recognize and integrate the existential and spiritual dimension of the patient in health-care. These dimensions take the form of listening and interacting on issues such as beliefs, hopes, meaning, values and a sense of identity. Spirit4care aims to support the teaching of spiritual care (SC) in the nursing discipline, by enabling teachers and training establishments to make it their own.
