▶Objectives
To develop and implement an XRtool that healthcare graduates specializing in the care of elderly populations with mild dementia can use to integrate gait training sessions, thereby contributing to an enhancement in the quality of life for elderly citizens. To achieve the above, the project’s secondary objective is to train healthcare graduate and professionals in the use of the tool and XR technologies so they can implement them in their daily practice and enhance their employability skills.
▶Activities
The project will implement various activities across five work packages: WP1) Project Management, WP2) Educational Programme Manual Development, WP3)Design and Development of the XR Tool, WP4: Training on a transnational & local level as well as local pilot testing, and finally, WP5) Dissemination & communication to ensure engagement and awareness of the project throughout its lifecycle.
▶Impact
The project aims to achieve three objectives closely aligned with selected priorities: 1) Develop and Implement XR-tool for Gait Training to enhance digital readiness and offer innovative skill development opportunities, addressing digital transformation priorities. 2)Develop an Educational Programme Manual and provide local and multinational level, and 3)Pilot Test XRtool in Elderly Populations to ensure its suitability and promote its adoption in healthcare training programs
