▶Objectives
The aim of the project is to build the capacity and readiness of the partner institutions for an effective transition to international digital learning. This will be achieved through the innovative COIL approach, the effective use of digital technologies and the development of related skills for teachers and students. The project responds to the need for digitalization, internationalisation and practice-orientation of higher education in occupational safety and health (OSH).
▶Activities
There are four main activities: First is the development of a modular online course on COIL design and training workshops for teachers, the second is the co-design of accompanying innovative teaching methods and new resources, third is the development and organisation of COIL projects across partner institutions, and last is the creation of a sustainable online community platform for COIL in OSH. These activities will be supplemented by the promotion of the OSH field and knowledge sharing.
▶Impact
The project outcomes include: the online course on COIL design, training workshops for teachers, ready-to-use teaching tools and guides, and the COIL projects themselves along with their reusable designs made available for others. Additional results are the online community platform for OSH educators, collected good practices, joint publications, and international collaborations. This project will lead to the enhancement of the capacities and competence of OSH educators and learners.
