โ–ถObjectives

The project aims at two interconnected objectives: I. to create tools which will help teachers to identify pupils at risk of learning difficulties and also tools which will help the teachers to intervene and support the identified pupils therefore prevent further school failures and/or learning deficits; II. to show how to implement collaborative teaching, which is an efficient way how to apply inclusive practices and support diverse learners within elementary school classrooms,

โ–ถActivities

The main activities will focus on the following: I. teacher whole-class and individual assessment of learners at risk of learning difficulties to understand their difficulties; II. intervention procedures to support pupils who fall behind their peers and show signs of learning difficulties; III. teacher training on assessment procedures, support of pupils, collaborative teaching, and inclusive processes which will prevent school failures of pupils at risk; IV. dissemination of project results.

โ–ถImpact

The project outcomes will be: I. a group screening tools for classes, and an individual assessment battery for pupils identified by the screening tool; II. a set of support worksheets (on math, mother tongue, English, general learning strategies) for elementary school pupils who fall behind their peers; III. a teacher guide how to implement the assessment tools, the worksheets, collaborative teaching, and inclusive practices at elementary schools; IV. e-learning course for teachers.
