We want to create innovative access to digitization for older people. To this end, we offer digital cultural education formats that reduce digital inhibitions and strengthen digital skills and participation. We expect a valuable exchange of knowledge between the partners on digital learning and cultural formats, accessing the target group, and measuring the impact of the partner’s own work. One goal will be a handout for organizations working in the field of digital adult education and seniors.

We plan to implement 8 digital cultural education formats for older people. Five network meetings are planned between the two organizations humaQ/Die Gute Stunde and nowa, as well as other organizations (both analog and digital). In addition, a digital World Café on the topic of new access to the digital world for older people is planned where seniors and people from other organizations working in the field of adult education, and seniors are invited.

We hope to contribute to greater digital literacy and participation among older people. We want to open up new target groups and get people over 65 excited about digital offerings. We would like to strengthen the network of seniors, digital guides, and adult education organizations in Germany and Austria. We expect to gain new insights for addressing target groups and developing offerings for older people who are interested in lifelong learning and culture.
