▶Objectives
The project will develop an innovative and evidence-based training program focusing on issues related to promotion of health literacy specifically on vaccinations and safe use of medications. MedLit will enable trained adult educators to further disseminate the curriculum through their educational activities, therefore amplifying the impact of the project. The target audience is also parents, older people, patients and carers.

- A Theoretical Foundation and Co-created Training Design, detailing the specific training needs and perspectives of target groups. - The MedLit Educational Methods and Training Module comprises a comprehensive guide for the design of the training curriculum & the development of materials. - The MedLit e-learning platform, digital learning tools and training. - The MedLit dissemination & outreach activities.
▶Impact
MedLit will improve knowledge and skills of parents, older people, patients and carers through a digital training program developed based on the target groups’ views and needs, collected through co-creation. The e-training will focus on issues such as: antibiotics and their relation to respiratory diseases, vaccinations, mental health medication, medication disposal, overdose risk, children and medication, storage and handling, alcohol and other substance interactions, medicine interaction.
